枝サンゴに群れるコバルト色の魚たち。
ここは、水面からでも中の様子がはっきりとわかるほど透明な海。
白い砂の波うちぎわから一歩足を踏み入れるとそこは水中楽園。
青、赤、緑、色とりどりのサンゴの間を、これまた強烈な色彩に色どられた魚たちが、
あるいは群れ、あるいは単独で思い思いに泳いでゆく。
この絵にあるコバルトルリスズメは群れをなして浅瀬のサンゴのまわりを泳ぎ、
手を近付けるとすばやいうごきでサッとサンゴの中に隠れてしまう。
幼魚が大きくなるまでひとつのサンゴのまわりで過ごすという
魚たちの小宇宙がかいま見えて、時のたつのをわすれて見いってしまいます。
Neiの南国への熱い想いの第一歩は、
八重山諸島・石垣島の米原ビーチで見たこのサンゴのシーンから始まりました。「共生楽園コーラル」は友禅アート。
絹に「手描き友禅」で描かれたものを、
「ジクリー（版画の技法）」で紙に表現しています。
友禅の持つ、ぼかしと布目の独特な雰囲気をあますことなく再現。
長い年月にもほどんど退色しないといわれています。
展示・保存の際は、直射日光と湿気を避けることをお勧めします。

Cobalt-colored fish swarming around branching coral.
The sea here is so clear that you can see what is going on inside even from the surface.
Stepping into the white sand at the edge of the waves, you enter an underwater paradise.
Blue, red, green, and other colorful corals, fish with vivid colors also swim around, either in groups or alone, as they please.
The cobalt blue swallowtails in this painting are swimming around the corals in shallow waters in groups,
and when you approach them, they quickly move and hide inside the corals.
You can see the small universe of the fish,
where young fish spend their time around a single coral until they grow up, and you can't help but stare at them, forgetting the passage of time.
The first step in Nei's passion for the tropics began with this coral scene that she saw at Yonehara Beach on Ishigaki Island in the Yaeyama Islands.
"Symbiotic Paradise Coral" is a Yuzen art piece. Hand-painted Yuzen silk paintings are reproduced on paper using giclee (a printing technique).
The unique atmosphere of Yuzen's blurring and fabric texture is reproduced perfectly.
It is said to barely fade even over the years.
When displaying or storing, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight and moisture.
