一見、食べ物とは思えないランブータン。
鳥たちから身を守るためなのか、
その果実は長いチクチクした
柔らかいトゲで覆われています。
どんな風に生っているのか知りたくて、
サムイの島中を探しました。
ありました。民家の庭に。
ちょうどイチジクの皮を
やぶるように剥くと、
ブドウのような白い実が.....。南洋果実ランブータン「南洋果実ランブータン」は友禅アート。
絹に「手描き友禅」で描かれたものを、
「ジクリー（版画の技法）」で紙に表現しています。
友禅の持つ、ぼかしと布目の独特な雰囲気を
あますことなく再現。
長い年月にもほどんど退色しないといわれています。
展示・保存の際は、直射日光と
湿気を避けることをお勧めします。

At first glance, rambutan doesn't look like food.

Perhaps to protect itself from birds,

its fruit is covered with long, prickly, soft thorns.

I wanted to know how it grows, so I searched all over the island of Samui.

I found it. In a private garden.

Just like tearing the skin of a fig,

you'll find a white fruit like grapes.....

South Sea Fruit Rambutan

South Sea Fruit Rambutan is Yuzen art.

Hand-drawn Yuzen paintings on silk are expressed on paper using Zicree (a printing technique).

The unique atmosphere of Yuzen's blurring and fabric texture is reproduced without any flaws.

It is said that the color hardly fades even after many years.

When exhibiting or storing, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight and humidity.
