南国を代表する花のひとつ、それがデイゴ。
力強い幹のフォルムに妙に絵心をくすぐられて
スケッチを...。沖縄のデイゴは沖縄らしく。
そう考えて描いていたら、
沖縄伝統の紅型（びんがた）染めを
彷佛とさせる絵になってしまいました。
沖縄の県花デイゴは、5月の太陽を
いっぱい浴びて、真っ赤な顔で
カラカラと笑っていました。
絹に「手描き友禅」で描かれたものを、
「ジクリー（版画の技法）」で
紙に表現しています。
友禅の持つ、ぼかしと布目の独特な雰囲気を
あますことなく再現。
長い年月にもほどんど退色しない
といわれています。
展示・保存の際は、直射日光と
湿気を避けることをお勧めします。

The deigo is one of the representative flowers of the tropics.

The powerful trunk shape of the deigo somehow tickled my artistic spirit, so I sketched it...

The deigo of Okinawa is Okinawan.

As I was thinking about this,

the picture ended up reminiscent of Okinawa's traditional bingata dyeing.

The deigo, Okinawa's prefectural flower, was laughing out loud with a red face, bathed in the May sun.

The silk painting with "hand-drawn yuzen" is expressed on paper using "gicree (printing technique)".

The unique atmosphere of the gradation and fabric texture of yuzen is reproduced without any flaws.

It is said that the color hardly fades even after many years.

When exhibiting or storing, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight and humidity.
